This beautiful flowerpot is handmade by our groups in Kenya. The baskets are crafted from local sisal plants which can be found everywhere. Our producers harvest the sisal, extract the fibers, dye them, spin threads and hand-weave the final products. This basket is sealed with a seamless plastic lining and are suitable for 1 inner pot size 5”.
These traditional skills are passed down through generations, and the women often come together and work in fellowship. Through flexible working conditions and fair wages, our goal is to contribute to economic empowerment for the artisans.
