A Latvian native with a Doctorate in Architecture, the late Pepi Sprohge worked in a range of mediums, from paper lithographs to marker drawings. A fast, spontaneous creator, he found inspiration in post-classical art, favoring Matisse, Picasso and Van Gogh. His art is reflective of his humor and optimistic joie de vivre.
